Jack Chain is made of thin wire composed of figure eight shaped links looped between one another at 90-degree angles. Jack chain is widely used as a general or all purpose chain when strength and load bearing ability are secondary. As a general-purpose chain, its flexibility is second to none – whether you’re hanging potted plants, signage, lighting, decorations or anything in between.
Jack chain is not intended to support significant loads or be used where failure could lead to property damage or injury.

Jack Chain Materials
Jack chain is manufactured to be tough, flexible, and inexpensive. All sizes are available in plain steel, galvanized steel, several different grades of stainless steel, and solid brass. Aluminum chains are available on a special order basis. Depending upon your requirements, chains can be supplied machine cut in lengths ranging from 2 in. to 48 in., in neutral or private label boxes of 50 or 100 ft. lengths, on fiber-board spools of 250, 500, or 1000 feet each.
