For customers who are considering cutting or molding their own sprockets, we offer the following tooth configuration profile. The geometry depicted can be used to generate or reverse engineer a tooth profile that will give the best results with most ladder chain sizes.
Over the years we’ve used this profile for everything from heavy-duty stainless steel chain to miniature chain. It remains – to our knowledge – the only geometry that exists to help determine the actual tooth profile. This allows you to make a well-informed decision when it comes to finding chain with the right geometry for your applications.
